Dorchester's Mayor for 2026-2027
Councillor Les Fry BEM will serve as Mayor for the Council year to 24 May 2027. Les will be supported by the Mayoress, Mrs Julie Fry BEM, and Councillor Robin Potter as Deputy Mayor.
Each year the Mayor of Dorchester chooses a charity / charities to promote and raise funds for. Les’ chosen charities for his Mayoral year are Prostate Cancer UK, Dorchester Youth & Community Centre (DYCC) and People First Dorset.
If you would like to invite the Mayor to an event that you are organising please download and complete a Mayoral Engagement form and send it to Georgina Wakely, the Mayor's Secretary.
