The Joint Markets Panel deals with the day-to-day control and management of markets and tolls and locations across the Dorchester area. It is composed of three Dorchester Town Councillors and three Dorset Council Councillors.

Meetings of the Joint Markets Panel usually take place in the Council Chamber (upstairs in the Corn Exchange building) at either 2.30pm or 5.30pm.
