Grants

Each year the Council gives grants to local organisations. The grants are usually fairly small, between £50 and £500, as the Council believes that the limited resources which are available should benefit as many people as possible.

The Council will usually only consider grant applications for specific projects rather than a contribution towards ongoing or revenue costs. Full application guidance notes are included with the grant application form.

For the financial year 2010/11 the Council's Grants Panel will meet on Tuesday 11th May, 2010 and again on Tuesday 9th November, 2010. Completed grant application forms need to be received at least one week prior to these meeting dates if they are to be considered.
