Andy Canning

Andy was first elected to the Council in 1999.

He is Chair of the Management Committee and also serves on the Planning and Environment Committee.  He is a member of the Borough Gardens Panel and the Traffic Panel and chairs the Recreational Activities Panel.  He is a Town Council representative on the Dorchester Markets Joint Committee.

Andy is also a West Dorset District Councillor, and it is in this role that he chairs Dorchester Heritage Committee.
