Andy has been a Dorchester Councillor since 1999, was Mayor in 2012 and stood as the Lib Dem Parliamentary Candidate for West Dorset in 2017.
He has been a long-serving Chairman of Dorchester's Heritage Committee and is currently involved with plans to upgrade the Roman Town House and improve tourist signage. More recently Andy has also been Chairman of the group overseeing the town's Transport and Environment Plan. This has included transforming the lower half of South Street and improving major junctions such as Great Western Cross to give a higher priority to pedestrians while keeping the traffic flowing.
