Dorchester Town Council
Views around Dorchester

The Council operates four tennis courts. Two courts are located within the Borough Gardens and the other two are located just on the other side of West Walks. Courts are open during daylight hours all year round.

You can just turn up and play if there is a court available at a charge of £8.00 an hour. However a much more cost effective key fob scheme is in operation which means that for just £25 per household for a whole year you can play as many times as you like (subject to some booking restrictions) and you can book the courts through the online bookings system and then access the courts with your electronic key fob.

Click here to download an application form so as to enable you to take advantage of this fantastic scheme which is supported by the British Lawn Tennis Association. You may also have a form sent through the post - telephone 01305 266861.

Once you have obtained your key fob you can make bookings easily for the courts by clicking here.

A new Dorchester Tennis League started in 2015 to make it easy for men and women of all standards to play friendly competitive matches. Everyone is welcome. Players are organised into groups of a similar standard and arrange their own matches at a mutually convenient time. There are four 8-week rounds a year.
