Annual Town Meeting

Town and parish councils are the only tier of local government which are required by law to hold an Annual Assembly meeting, and it has to be held during March.  In Dorchester the Annual Assembly of the Town Meeting usually takes place immediately after the March Council meeting and replaces the public half hour which we have after every Council meeting - so you don't need to wait for the Annual Meeting if you have points to raise with us or any problems which you think we might be able to help with.
