Trevor was first elected to the Council in 1976. He has been Mayor three times, in 1982-83, 1992-93 and 2002-03. He has also been Mayor's Escort three times, in 1988-89, 2000-01, and 2013-14 when his wife Stella was Mayor.
Trevor is a member of the Policy and Planning and Environment Committees. He also serves on the Dorchester Markets Informal Joint Committee.
He is also a member of West Dorset District Council.
