Kate was first elected to the Council in 1995 and served until 1999. She was re-elected in 2003 and was Mayor in 2008-09.
She is a member of the Planning and Environment and Policy Committees and of the Arts and Borough Gardens Panels.
She represents the Council on the Dorchester Heritage Committee and Dorchester Arts Centre.
