David was first elected to the Council in 1999 and served as Mayor in 2007-08.
He is a member of the Management and Planning and Environment Committees. He also serves on the Dorchester Markets Joint Panel and represents the Council on the Dorset Association of Parish and Town Councils and Dorchester Stop The Drop.
David is also a member of West Dorset District Council.
