Anita was first elected to the Council in 2007, although she served as Mayoress when her husband Tim was Mayor in 2004-05.
She serves on the Management Committee and on the Borough Gardens and Community Activities Panels.
She represents the Council on the Dorchester Association for Research into Local History and Archæology and RELATE - Dorset Marriage Guidance Council. She is also a member of the Dorchester Joint Burial Committee.
